Hi, It looks like you purchased one of the Retina display MacBook Pros, an excellent machine but not necessarily top of the line. The top of the line models will usually cost you more than $2500 and can go steeper than that. For most folks, that is unnecessary. Usually what they sell at Best Buy are not souped up quite that much as those tend to be special order through the Apple On-Line Store.
