HI. I've owned my mac for over a year now. I do run a vm from time to time but am finding less and less need to go in to windows. It did take me a while to learn, but the thing I love about the mac is that it just seems to work. No laggie pauses when you hit a key and wait for 5 seconds for a screen reader to tell you what's happening etc. I feel like I have the best of both worlds, I can use windows if I need to, and I can have the stability of the mac.
