Hi Nicholas,
I'm not yet totally familiar with all the functions of Nisus. But what I can
say: footnotes apear in a separate window to which you have access by simply
stop interacting with the text area and interact with the footnote area next to
it. In the text VO will anounce the footnote number. You can also insert a
footnote in between two footnotes and Nisus manages to change the numbers of
the following notes.
I'm not sure wether you can navigate in the way you want it and wether you can
read the line or page numbers. But you can jump to a specific page. You can't
use VO + CMD + h to jump from headder to headder.
What I also like in Nisus is the speed of work flow. My impression is it's way
way faster then Pages. And it's not necessary to interact with so many elements
to get want you want. It's also possible to send your document via e-mail. I
know Pages also have this function in the Share menue but I never managed to
use it successfully. It's always dimmed.
All the best
Jürgen
