Scott, Does your daughter still need access to those kindle titles? If not, then I believe you can sign in to your amazon account, go to manage my Kindle, or something like that, and in there, you can actually delete the books, which means, should you need them again, you'd have to repurchase them. If you don't want to do that, then I don't think there is a way you can stop those older books from showing up when your Amazon app is set to view the items in the cloud. But if you sort by recent, wouldn't all those older titles show up after anything you buy? This is assuming you have not been buying Kindle books for yourself until now, of course.
