Hi Lisette and Mary,

On the iPad, it may be the issue that the first generation model Mary
is using just doesn't have as much active memory to use for continuous
reading.  I don't think that's an issue with the later model iPads.  I
agree with Anne's assessment that some eBook versions simply don't
provide navigation in the table of contents, but just lists.

A suggestion for Lisette: to navigate the table of contents with
flicks, set your rotor to words or lines and then flick up and down.
I was finding that for some books I could only easily navigate to the
parts and not to the numbered chapters within the major parts untile I
set my rotor to words, then I could navigate to individual chapters in
the Table of Contents and double tap to go there in the book. This way
you don't have to first touch the section with the chapter number on
the screen and double tap.
