Thanks to David Woodbridge's podcasts, I've always known about the two finger double tap to answer and end calls. However, I've been having difficulty lately with this. I do a two finger double tap but the call doesn't hang up. I often have to repeat it two or three times before it works. Another problem is when I've locked the screen. Sometimes I do this during calls to stop VoiceOver from periodically announcing the time elapsed in the call. However, this seems to prevent me from doing a two finger double tap to end the call. I have to press home or power, slide to unlock the screen, enter my password, and then finally end the call. A lot of work and time just to end a call.
