I just did a bit more testing. I can, in fact, erase number. The problem is 
symbols: if I type in plus, then realize I made a mistake a few characters back 
(before the plus), I can't edit that number. Also, there seems to be no way of 
reviewing a calculation before executing it, or of seeing the whole thing, 
answer included, once it is done.
