Hi,

If you use any mail with the iMap protocol, it is just as easy to use the rules
that are a part of the Apple Mail app. When you use iMap, the mailboxes you
create are available on all your devices including Mac, PC and iDevices that
you've added that same eMail account to. Also, these will be synced
automatically across all those devices including the WebMail interface. So, if
I'm using the iMap protocol for my GMail account, and I create a Mailbox using
Apple Mail and make sure to put it to the top level of GMail which will be
done by default if GMail is selected at creation time, that same Mailbox will
show up and be accessible on all devices set up to use the GMail account. Do
the following:

1. Open Apple Mail.
2. Press cmd-comma to bring up the Mail Preferences.
3. Interact with the ToolBar and select the Rules tab.
4. Navigate right and press the Add Rule button.
5. Give the rule a name.
6. Navigate right, depending on your criteria, either leave it on "Any" or
change to "All". In most cases, "Any" is preferred.
7. Interact with the Criteria Scroll area and set the matching criteria.
8. Stop Interacting with the Scroll area, navigate right and Interact with the
Action Scroll area.
9. Set the Action you wish to have happen.

Now, in your case, in the Criteria area, you'd enter From [email protected]
and in the Actions area, enter Move Message to Mailbox blah-blah. Make sure
that you've first created the Mailbox before you add the rule.

That should do it. If your GMail account is using Pop instead, then I suggest
you enable iMap from your GMail account settings and re-add your Mail account
as iMap.

Later...
