Hi,

In iTunes, try selecting the Songs button so that all items are listed.  Now if 
you press return after entering the Search criteria.  it should allow you to 
navigate to the Music Table at the bottom right of the iTunes screen.  Interact 
with the Music Table and you should then be able to press cmd-i to Get Info on 
the selection, select the Options tab and change it to be an Audio Book.  I've 
found that if you don't press return, a different sort of results dialog comes 
up and it is not useful for these sorts of things.
