I don't want to destroy the book and rip the spine apart just to scan the thing. I like being able to do like I did in the windows days, with Openbook, or K1000, where I could lay both pages face down on the scanner bed, hit scan, and then allow it to scan two paged mode. With Docuscan, it's not seeming to recognize that there are two pages separated by a spine, and scan each one individually, so yeah, that's the only real objection I have to using Docuscan. On the other hand though, Between Fine Reader, and! Vuescan, that's gonna be nearly $200 by the time it's all said and done. this is why I'm just wondering if there may be another better sollution that would definitely beyond a doubt give me that two page scanning ability, and obviously, that would be accessible.
