Hello Jürgen, Prizmo for Mac is sort of accessible but horrible to use. It does not take care of orientation which is its worst fault. Also, you have to read the Help tags for most of the buttons and you often have to bring the mouse and use VO-Shift-Space to click buttons. To select your scanner, you have to bring the mouse and use VO-Shift-Space.
Really, ABBYY FineReader is vastly better than Prizmo, and for someone who works with more than one language, FineReader can handle three languages within one document, so you don't need to know in advance what language your document is in.
