Chris is only partly correct. The fact that one line e-mails tend to look
more like people just chatting with each other is something I find quite
annoying. From my perspective, if you just want to do one line chats, you
need to do that in chat rooms and not using e-mail. I suspect that this
perspective comes from how I've always viewed e-mails. One liners like "I
agree" and that's all really annoy me.
