Alex,

I'll tell you a script that I would even be willing to pay! you a small amount for if you could make work. I'd like some way that if calendar events pop up on my screen in the notification area to be able to with one keystroke either snooze all of them in one shebang, or just totally close/dismiss them altogether. I've found that sometimes I get notifications from my calendar, and find that there is no close button to the left of the events in the notifications table when I bring it up, thus, the only way to dismiss them at that point is to reboot. It used to happen somewhat rarely but it seems to be becoming more and more frequent. Often it drives me nuts as with the very little vision I have, I don't have enough to click in their bounderies with the mouse then go to the close button, but that said, I do have enough to visually see them up there in the top right corner, and they're just enough to get in my way, as they're in the foreground regardless what else is on the screen.

Chris.

Subject: your opinions on what a reminders script should have

Hi all,
I am putting together a script to speak overdue reminders, as well as those due today, and I wanted your input. The plan right now is to have two scripts: one for overdue reminders, and one for reminders set for a time today that has not yet passed (once it passes, the reminder is overdue). 1. Would you prefer these to be combined into one script instead? If so, how might that work, since overdue reminders could range pretty far back; how would you decide which to put first? That's why I think two scripts works better, but these scripts are for everyone, so I'll take your wants into consideration. 2. Should the "today" script disregard time? That is, if it is afternoon and you have a reminder due that morning, it is technically past due. Do you still want to hear that morning's reminder in the "today" script, or do you only want reminders that are not yet due but will be sometime today? It is possible I could offer a setting for this, if that would be easier. 3. On a related note, what would people want to see from a calendar script? The same thing as these reminders scripts, or something different?

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini)
