Chris, try opening the window chooser with VO-F2 twice quickly, and getting to
the alert that way. Then you can just VO-Space on the close button.

Alex,
Re Reminders
NOt sure how you would do this, but what would seem to be the best way for me
would be as follows. One script which speaks today's up-coming reminders first,
followed by overdue reminders. Today's reminders could be listed in
chronological order, with the most pressing reminders first followed by the
reminders due later in the day. Overdue reminders could be listed in reverse
chronological order with the most recent first and the oldest last. Perhaps the
text spoken could be something like this:
You have X reminders today. (*List today's reminders.*) You have Z overdue
reminders. (*List overdue reminders.*)

Keeping this short and sweet would be a good incentive to keep on top of your
to-doos and tick off those reminders. :)

Re Calendar
I think two scripts would be good here: one for today's events, one for
tomorrow's events. The text could go something like:
Today you have Meeting with Such and Such from 9am to 12pm, then dinner from
6pm to 8pm.
Tomorrow you have Sarah's birthday all day, then dentist appointment from 2pm
to 4pm.
Etcetera.

Looking forward to these scripts!

Cheers,
Nic
