Yes, I am using IMAP and not POP, thankfully. I set it up this morning and I 
now understand how it all works - a very neat solution overall, letting you 
view a unified inbox if you want but also splitting it up by account if you 
want. I have also figured out how to send mail from one address or the other 
and I have successfully added a signature to my new account.
