Yes, People outside the UK – Australians, for instance – can join audible.co.uk. I have, and I live outside the UK. The only thing to be careful of is that they often run competitions but in the fine print it says you need to live in the UK in order to win. I bought a whole bunch of books hoping to win an iPad before checking that. :)
Unfortunately Australia does not have an audible site.
