Well, The best place to go for that sort of thing would be Emusic. They have
downloads from a lot of different companies. Tantor and books in motion only
have books that they recorded.

As for cheep, define cheep. I read a lot of audiobooks, like between 5 and 10
a month. So for me, if I had to buy them at audible box prices I wouldn't
really save anything. If what I want is in the sale bin then possibly, but
that would limit my selection. I prefer to just buy what I want, when I want,
and pay for the convenience. MP3 quality from the places I go to is far better
than audible, and it's compatible with my sansa, and I can share my purchases
with my brother without getting docked a licence count. And the price is
between $10 and $25 a book. So there. If you are a light reader and you're
happy scrounging all the time, and you have a compatible player, you can save
money at audible. But if you just want books when you want them then mp3
suppliers are the way to go.

Best,

Erik Burggraaf
