Hi all, So here is a more detailed explanation of how I create ringtones, and what's happening. I have always created ringtones by setting the start and stop position for the chunk of the song that I want to use, create a file with that chunk of the song, and then change the extension from M4a to M4R and import. this has worked ever since I first got my phone. I've been trying to make new ringtones since yesterday, and every time I try to import them back into iTunes, iTunes just changes the extension back to M4A and imports it as a song rather than a ringtone. Is this something new in iTune 11? Is there any way to keep it from changing the file extension back to m4a?? It's really getting on my last nerve! thanks, Donna
