Hi,

this subject can be a hot one sometimes. There are many people who use third
party security software but there are many more who don’t. I won’t get into,
nor do I wish to start a conversation on the needs for or not for such a
solution. I will just tell you that I have 5 various versions of Macs at my
home, and manage over a thousand at my place of work and we don’t use any extra
security software on our Macs at all. We used to use Sophos but decided that
it was unnecessary and have since removed it from our machines. We have not
experienced any infiltrations to my knowledge in either configuration.

so, your call.

Later…
