Oops, wrong thread. But I was also looking for the information you provided. 
From it, I’ve decided I’m going to count on someone to compile it for macports 
before I mess with it. It’s more than I really want to get involved in doing, 
as much as i like brltty.

As for the Alpine mail client, I almost have it ready to roll. I have to fix a 
couple of settings. It was available in macports, and someone kindly pointed 
out here how to enable the cursor.
