Brian I am using dictation to compose this e-mail and so far have not had any crashes. What default language are you using? I have never actually used e-mail and dictation previously but have also installed the off-line feature which will allow me to not have to send information to Apple to be converted to text I would be curious if you find any information regarding this apparent bug. this is a feature that can be very beneficial to those of us who are blind. It would be nice to have information regarding this problem. let us know what you find out. Jim
