I know some of you had been looking for an alternative to the standard Apple mail client so I would like to offer you all another option. I am running mutt, a popular text based email client on the Linux platform. I installed homebrew, which is like macports to support the shell environment. I run Mutt from the terminal app and use emacs as my text editor. I would like to maybe try text edit but so far haven't figured out how to hook Mutt up to it.
Anyway, I've been reading a bunch of old messages from this list with Mutt for the past hour or more and it's pretty cool. It's neat to have choices out there. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
