Hi all, I got a portable external hard drive for christmas and have been using it with Time Machine which I have a question about. If I were to leave Time Machine on but not have my portable hard drive connected, would this still drain the battery on my Mac Book Pro? This is just a question that I was curious about. Like Bluetooth and wi-fi can drain one’s battery if left on all the time could this happen to Time Machine as well?
