I never open a separate window to edit a contact. I usually use Contacts in Group view mode, if that makes any difference. This gives you a table of groups on the left, the contact info area in the middle, and the list of contacts on the right. Once I select a contact I press the edit button and then interact with the contact info area to edit the info. Once I'm done I press the done checkbox and move back to the list of contacts. It is probably not the fastest way, but it works fine and this might be the sort of thing you're looking fore. Best, Nic
