You are not able to send Youtube videos to iTunes, iTunes does not house
audio or video podcasts. iTunes is just a search reposatory for podcasts &
will take an RSS feed. It will then check the RSS feed frequently for new &
updated content. You are not able to download Youtube videos. I'd suggest
that you get a media host such as Libsyn or Blubrry for media hosting. These
services will then give you an RSS feed which you are then able to submit to
iTunes. You may also use the powerpress plugin if you're a wordpress user,
then upload your content to archive.org, grab the imbed link from them,
paste that in to powerpress then submit a RSS feed from your wordpress site
to iTunes. Yes, allot of information presented here, I know. In closing,
keep in mind that your web hosting & media hosting are 2 different animals.
Most web hosting will not allow you to send streamed content from them
reguardless of what some may tell you... Have to read the fine print on
them...

hi group; now that i finally started recording my videos, what is the method
for getting them on iTunes. do the files have to be uploaded to my website
or can i send youtube videos to iTunes if they are in a certain format?
what formats do they have to be recorded in? is there some other pod
