Hello everyone, I am having an annoying problem that is begging for a solution. About two years ago, I received a USB microphone/headset when I purchased Dragon Dictate for my Mac. Everything worked perfectly until I inadvertently messed something up, either in the VO settings or in the Mac preferences.
Here's the problem: Whenever I work in English, I hear speech through the headset, as things should be. I can also use the USB headset's microphone for Skype conversations. However, when I switch to German, speech is routed through the MacBook speakers, something which I definitely don't want. Furthermore, all of the navigation sounds upon which I depend (i.e. tops and bottoms of rows and columns) are sent to the MacBook speaker, not to the headset. If I use line-in earphones, I hear absolutely everything through the headphones, as would be expected. Any thoughts on how to rectify this problem would be appreciated.
