Hey migrating all of your saved emails from gmail to iCloud in mam mail is very quick. The long part is finding the settings on websites that email you and changing your email. I have set up a forwarding from all gmail to iCloud which actually works very well. Not sure why none of my rules seem to be working as I set them up through iCloud site which until you figure it out is a royal pain. I actually have to you the VO command shift space bar on any text field I want to enter text in on the iCloud website. Apple obviously did not take VO in to consideration when they built the iCloud website as the navigation of iCloud is worst than navigating gmail.
