I'm trying to install a USB keyboard and when it is connected and I complete the keyboard installation utility, the function keys no longer announce themselves as they do with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard.
This seems then to carry over to any USB keyboard I attach. I then did the really stupid thing of turning on the Apple Bluetooth keyboard and let's just say that things went downhill from there. All has been restored but I'm still curious about the function keys not working or speaking as they do with the Apple keyboard. All other Apple keys work fine.
