Hello everyone,
So my wife and I are looking at this one podcast which I will provide the
link to which is reguarding remapping the voiceover keys to the caps lock key
as well as creating a numpad around the I key etc. We’re wanting to see if we
can do this so that her vm fusion experience is possibly a little better being
that she doesn’t have a full keyboard to use therefore not being able to use
things like the jaws cursor or mouse clicks with jaws. The podcast we’re looking
at is the following:
http://www.applevis.com/podcast/episodes/new-updated-remapping-keys-your-macs-keyboard-enhance-voiceover-experience
On here it mentions to go to pqrs.org’s website and download two apps
called keyRemap4MacBook and PcKeyboardHack. However the link it provides to do
this doesn’t seem to exist and when we go just to pqrs.org we can only
seemingly find the first app. Also, when we go to that link the installation
instructions are pretty confusing so hoping someone can give us some advice on
how to better understand what we need to do.
Thanks again for any help on this matter as usual. Also, if anyone has
experience running vm fusion on their mac and has success please feel free and
send me some e-mails directly maybe offlist as it seems as if we have some
random issues that we’re not quite sure how to resolve at the moment.
Take care,
Shannon Gerdts
