Comment (by anonymous):

I use ath1 to be AP and ath0 to be sta.[[BR]]
 here is my script:[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 #!/bin/sh[[BR]]
 wlanconfig ath1 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap[[BR]]
 sleep 3s[[BR]]
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta nosbeacon[[BR]]
 sleep 3s[[BR]]
 iwconfig ath0 essid someap[[BR]]
 iwconfig ath1 essid someotherap[[BR]]
 ifconfig ath0 up[[BR]]
 sleep 2s[[BR]]
 /etc/init.d/killerwall stop[[BR]]
 dhcpcd ath0[[BR]]
 ifconfig ath1 192.168.1.1 up[[BR]]
 dhcpd[[BR]]
 firestarter[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
which worked fine is the signal was ok. If the signal was too low, it
would crash as soon as dhcpcd would terminate. (because it calls ifconfig
 ath0 down?)[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
The following also crashed the computer, but everytime (I had made an
error when editing the script, I replaced the wrong command):[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 #!/bin/sh[[BR]]
 wlanconfig ath1 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap[[BR]]
 sleep 3s[[BR]]
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta nosbeacon[[BR]]
 sleep 3s[[BR]]
 iwconfig ath0 essid someap[[BR]]
 iwconfig ath1 essid someotherap[[BR]]
 ifconfig ath0 up[[BR]]
 sleep 2s[[BR]]
 /etc/init.d/killerwall stop[[BR]]
 dhcpcd ath0[[BR]]
 ifconfig ath1 192.168.1.1 up[[BR]]
 pump -i ath0[[BR]]
 firestarter[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
If I brought down ath0 (sta) or destroyed it before ath1 (ap), it'd
 crash.[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
Also, too many connection drops caused it to crash as well.[[BR]]
