Yourself and Pavel are correct, the ticket had insufficient detail, so it
can remain closed until such a time that more information comes to hand.
The original reporter did not give any extra details as to his
environment, so it was my naive assumption that the asm symlink based ARCH
determination was failing.
Never did I anticipate that this action would invoke such a reaction. A
good look at my communication skills is required, with the aim of avoiding
this kind of situation in the future.
