No, I just emerged the last version of tools, driver and the
wpa_supplicant. I did have a problem where wpa_supplicant had a error
message that madwifi was a unsupported driver, but that was because the
madwifi flag was not set for wpa_supplicant.
I recomplied madwifi-drivers, wpa and then my kernel last night. And I
believe that I have fixed the problems. I did not really change any other
settings before recompling. The only thing that I can think was that I had
the wrong linux source reference (since I has preparing to upgrade
kernels, but still a stupid misstake).
