I have a Netgear PCI card WG311T. The following is an output from lspci:
Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
uname -r:2.6.15-1.1831_FC4
I installed the madwifi driver via yum and set up the ath0 device. However
when I try to obtain an IP through dhcp I get the following errors:
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument.
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument.
Determining IP information for ath0... failed.
I also tried to uninstall the madwifi driver that yum installed and then
downloaded and compiled the version directly from Madwifi.org. I still get
the same issue.
