I am using madwifi-ng latest.
We are trying to make an adhoc link using atheros radios(ubuquiti) of
about 8000 meters.
The problem is if we use AP mode on card the txpower can be changed
using iwconfig. But in adhoc mode the iwconfig dont work to change
txpower.
when issued command "iwconfig ath0 txpower 200mW" or any other value it
doesnt give any error message however iwconfig doesnt display th changed
value. Now if I set ath0 as AP then I can see the changes made after
issuing iwconfig command.
Why the txpower doesnt get changed in adhoc mode?
