I'm not sure if this will be off-topic:
Currently, the madwifi-ng driver is a modification of the 802.11 stack
from BSD + a low-level device driver. Will we always keep this
relationship, or should we make any efforts to move away from the BSD
802.11 stack and use one of the internal Linux Kernel ones (i.e.
devicescape or the ieee80211).
