weird. That kinda isolates it to the particular driver binaries, or to a
strange interaction between the PCMCIA bridge and madwifi driver.
Have you tried a different Linux kernel version on the faulty machine?
Could you tell me what values of CONFIG_PREEMPT and CONFIG_SMP your
kernels are compiled with?
