 hmm.. i'm confused now.

 What is the problem exactly ?
 You're using the madwifi-ng code as the AP.

 And you're trying to connect 2 diff. ipaq to the AP using WPA-PSK.

 Does the AP broadcast ssid ? What other "special" things is the AP doing ?

 For the ipaq, are they set to connect to a certain essid, or not ?
