Hello!
I have bought an GN-WI01HT MiniPCI WLAN Adapter. AR5006XS is the Chipset.
Is says, that this card can do maximum 100 mW ...
But madwifi only allows max. 39 mW ?
BlackBox conikost # iwlist ath0 txpower
ath0 8 available transmit-powers :
0 dBm (1 mW)
4 dBm (2 mW)
6 dBm (3 mW)
8 dBm (6 mW)
10 dBm (10 mW)
12 dBm (15 mW)
14 dBm (25 mW)
16 dBm (39 mW)
Current Tx-Power=16 dBm (39 mW)
So wheres the Problem? What I am doing wrong? I also can't set the
countrycode, as i get this error: wifi%d: unable to collect channel list
from hal; regdomain likely 48 country code 276 (Germany)
Using Gentoo Linux 2006.1 + madwifi 0.9.2
