Comment:

 wifi0 is the representation of the physical WLAN card, while ath0 is a so
 called VAP. This is all explained in the [wiki:About/MadWifi#Multi-BSSID
 wiki].

 Questions like this obviously don't qualify for a ticket, but should be
 directed to our [wiki:Support regular support channels] in the future.
