I have tried Fedora 8 live-cd. I found that AR5007EG is detected, just
like percy said, but failed to connect to my network. I figure this may be
because lack of loaded package in the live cd such as wpa_supplicant. This
is good news. When I run "lsmod | grep ath", i can see ath5k is loaded.
However, I can't install Fedora 8 into my laptop right now. Mr.
mrenzmann, is this mean AR5007EG is finally supported by ath5k driver? Or
it just luck - meaning ath5k recognize it just because it has same
platform/design with other supported model? lspci still mistakenly
recognize this hardware as AR5006EG.
