 I'm using Linux 2.6.19.1 and this version definitively doesn't have
 ioread32/iowrite32 (neither as macro in include/asm-mips nor as function
 in arch/mips.

 I wrongly assumed that ioread32/iowrite32 should show up in include/asm-
 mips in the current kernel tree (and therefore didn't check
 arch/mips/lib). Sorry for the noise.
