Comment (by proski):

There is a huge difference between mips-specific Linux 2.6.19.1 from
 git://ftp.linux-mips.org/pub/scm/linux (324a5c4) and the officially
 released Linux 2.6.19.1 from
 git://www.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-2.6.19.y
(1edb5a2). The diff is 470k long and affects 84 files. include/asm-
mips/io.h only has ioread32 and iowrite32 in the official release, not in
 the mips repository.

I also checked the official Linux 2.6.12, and it also has ioread32 and
iowrite32 in include/asm-mips/io.h. I don't know why they were removed in
the mips specific repository. In any case, I think madwifi cannot promise
to support anything but the mainline releases.

I'm going to mark this ticket as invalid.
