 Reporter: shadow | Type: defect
   Status: new | Priority: blocker
Component: madwifi: tools | Version: trunk
 Keywords: wlanconfig | Patch_attached: 0

 Using latest trunk version (r2951).
When using the command "sudo wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode
 adhoc"
instead of ath0, ath1 is created (ath0 did not exist before the command).

 After doing
 1. "sudo wlanconfig ath1 destroy"
 2. "sudo wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode adhoc"

 I get the same result.

trying to use ath1 results in ath2 being created.

 running Ubuntu gutsy (7.10).
 kernel version 2.6.22-14-generic.
