#1670: DHCP fails on Suse 10.3

          Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Component: madwifi: SuSE Packages
       Version: v0.9.3.3 | Keywords: DHCP Suse 10.3
Patch_attached: 0 |
---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
Starting from a fresh install of Suse 10.3 on a machine that previously
 had 10.1, I installed the latest kmp-default.

I am able to see and associate with my access point (I see the routers
MAC) but am unable to receive an IP address. I have confirmed that the
router accepts my MAC and that my WEP key setup is correct. No matter
what level of mutual NIC-Router configuration I use (no WEP, no MAC
filtering, etc), I still never get an IP address from the router. I have
also confirmed that I have the appropriate quantity of DHCP addresses
available to server from the router.

DHCP works fine on my on-board 100Base-T NIC and following some Wiki
reports, tried disabling the eth0 to allow ath0 to associate...same result
 --no IP address.

Time to ask for some help... Please advise.
