 I don't suspend my computer though... and a lot of the time that it
 happens I'm even using it while it loses the connection, so it's not being
 suspended, I'd assume. Would the /etc/acpi/resume.d/ file still have any
 effect?
 Well.. I have an OS X Leopard partition on this laptop.. and I'm going to
 be using this for a while. It works perfectly here, and never randomly
 disconnects me.
 It doesn't seem like it's too much of a good sign that this ticket has
 existed for nearly a year and it still hasn't even been assigned to
 anyone... I've been reading up about this on a bunch of forums and I've
 read about several people who switched back to Windows or Mac OS X because
 of this problem... I don't think you want to cause the Linux-user
 population to decrease like that....
