As it turned out, my girlfriend did not beat me up, so I guess WEP works
;) Even tough not with wpa_supplicant, but (quasi) manually with the
gentoo settings stuff.
I am a bit confused. I think that something with the communication between
wpa_supplicant and madwifi is wrong in this case here. But I have not
enough knowledge on how to investigate it further. Can somebody help me
what I have to look for or can somebody have a look into it?
