I'm trying to install the latest snapshot
(hxxp://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/madwifi-
hal-0.10.5.6-r3698-20080604.tar.gz) on a laptop lg with ubuntu 8.04 64
bits.[[BR]]
I'm not able to make it work and I don't know what I am doing wrong.[[BR]]
This is what I do:[[BR]]
- Verify that build-essential is installed and updated.[[BR]]
- Extract tar[[BR]]
- make[[BR]]
- sudo make install[[BR]]
- sudo depmod -ae[[BR]]
- sudo modprobe ath_pci[[BR]]
- append ath_pci and ath_hal to /etc/modules[[BR]]
I don't know if this is the best place to post this. If it's not, I'm
sorry.[[BR]]
