Confirmed. Cause of this issue is obviously that both authoritative
nameservers don't respond to DNS queries anymore. Thanks for the heads-up,
I will try to contact the admin of said nameservers to get this issue
solved.
Meanwhile, you can add the following entries to /etc/hosts as workaround:

217.24.1.134 madwifi.org
217.24.1.134 snapshots.madwifi.org
217.24.1.134 svn.madwifi.org
217.24.1.135 lists.madwifi.org
}}}
(yes, the IP for lists is different from that of the other entries; that's
no typo)
