Hello, these are the steps I try:
svn co hxxp://svn.madwifi.org/madwifi/trunk madwifi
wget hxxp://people.freebsd.org/~sam/ath_hal-20080528.tgz
cd madwifi
mv hal hal.old
tar xvf ../ath_hal-20080528.tgz
mv ath_hal-20080528 hal
make install BINDIR=/usr/bin MANDIR=/usr/share/man
depmod -ae
modprobe ath_pci
