 This version is outdated, you should follow the instructions on #1192
 instead to get a more up to date version of MadWifi for your system.

 Sitting three feet away from my router iwconfig reports the link quality
 to be around 40/70.

 The link quality reading is no fraction in MadWifi. The first value is
 RSSI, the second is the noise level. It seems that you're in a very noisy
